EHang will present an autonomous aerial vehicle in Thailand. EHang partnered with Charoen Pokphand Group, one of Thailand's largest conglomerates, with the intention of establishing a joint venture in Thailand for the sale of autonomous aerial vehicles (AAV) and urban air mobility (UAM) operations. The Thailand-based company operates in multiple industries, from agriculture to e-commerce and more. It aims to use EHang 's sustainable and autonomous air mobility technology and solutions to facilitate the development of a UAM ecosystem and smart cities in Thailand. Charoen Pokphand plans to eve C Level Executive List ntually use EHang AAVs in various scenarios such as air tourism, cargo transportation, last mile delivery, urban air taxi, smart city management, etc. in Thailand and beyond. EHang closed several deals in different regions over the past year. Recently, a Malaysian company, Aerotree, placed the largest pre-order for eVTOL passenger aircraft comprising EH series eVTOLs and longer-range VT- variants. EHang 's is a short-range two-seat AAV that uses electric rotors and can move along a predetermined route at a cruising speed of approximately km/h. The aircraft is capable of carrying payloads (cargo or passengers) of up to kg. It can reach a maximum speed of km/h and fly in a range of to km. Its VT- is described as a long-range AAV designed for intercity transportation. The two-passenger aircraft is equipped with eight propellers on both sides and has a pusher propeller at the rear designed for maximum hybrid lift and thrust balance. It can fly up to km on a single battery charge.
